Cynthia Germanotta, Mother of Lady Gaga, President & Co-Founder of Born This Way Foundation Joins 10th Annual Indiana Conference for Women as Keynote Speaker

Cynthia Germanotta will serve as the luncheon keynote speaker during the 10th annual Indiana Conference for Women (ICFW) on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Cynthia is President and Co-founder of Born This Way Foundation, which she co-founded with her daughter, Lady Gaga in 2012. The Foundation works to create a kinder, braver world that supports the wellness of young people through an evidence-based approach that is fiercely kind, compassionate and inclusive.

“Cynthia Germanotta’s work through Born This Way Foundation to improve understanding of mental wellness is inspiring and something we need more of in today’s world,” said Billie Dragoo-Garcia, co-founder of ICFW with Deborah Collins Stephens. “She is truly an advocate for a kinder and braver world. Our attendees will be inspired by her passion.”

As a keynote speaker, Germanotta will share how the Foundation works to build a community that provides approachable resources, fosters genuine connection, and drives action. Part of her keynote will focus on the book “CHANNEL KINDNESS,” a collection of inspirational stories written by young people that also includes personal notes of empowerment from Lady Gaga. The stories come from young changemakers who found their inner strength, prevailed in the face of bullies, started their own social movements, and decided to break through the mental health stigma.

The Indiana Conference for Women will be held at the Indiana Convention Center. Additional keynote speakers announced include Taraji P. Henson: businesswoman, Academy Award nominee, Golden Globe winner and Betsey Johnson: businesswoman and iconic fashion designer. Additional keynote speakers and presenters will continue to be announced. Tickets are $350 each and tables for 10 people are available online. For more information, visit IndianaConferenceForWomen.com.
