Call to action: Join the food fight

Mark your calendars for April 10th at 6:00pm. The Westminster Neighborhood Services, Inc. in association with Senator Patricia Miller, will host an event benefiting at-risk children and families in Indianapolis. William Enright, the founding Karen Lake Buttrey Director of Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, will speak about why he understands inner-city missions like Westminster to be vital to our community. The event will include a three-course meal, and it will take place at Westminster’s Family & Adult Services Center, 2325 E. New York St. Enright was the senior pastor at Second Presbyterian Church from 1981 to 2004. Currently, he is a director of Lilly Endowment, Inc. in addition to being a member of the board at the Foundation for the YMCA of greater Indianapolis. Enright co-founded Celebration of Hope, a foundation for racial reconciliation. Senator Miller has been the 32nd district representative since 1983. Senator Miller received an Honorary Doctorate of Human Letters from Asbury Theological Seminary. She is also a member of Old Bethel Methodist Church.
