The Mission of Coburn Place: Empowering victims of intimate partner violence to live as survivors.
The Vision of Coburn Place: A world where every adult and child may live free from intimate partner violence, housed stably and safely, with adequate financial resources.
What: Blue & Gold Breakfast is a fast-paced, early morning fundraising event to benefit adult victims of domestic violence and their children. This annual event raises much needed financial resources that provide support, advocacy, resources, housing options and life-changing services.
Components of Blue & Gold Breakfast include:
- Opportunity to enjoy breakfast at Bankers Life Fieldhouse – home of the Indiana Pacers, 125 S. Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, IN
- Inspirational speakers including a basketball personality and a Coburn Place program participant that will share about their journey from victim to survivor!
- Numerous sponsorship levels offer philanthropic and marketing visibility
- $500 Cash Raffle

The Success of Coburn Place: Since opening in 1996, 687 adults and 1,101 children have called Coburn Place their home. In 2017, 93% of Coburn Place clients completing the program exited to safe housing of their choice. 98% of Coburn Place residents established a personal plan for independence. Coburn Place provided 41,448 nights of safe housing. Staff and volunteers provided more than 8,039 hours of children’s programming, life skills development and tutoring; including 239 hours of support groups.
