Beacon of Hope Crisis Center to Hold Virtual Auction Event

Dec 01, 2020 @

2020 has certainly been an unprecedented year for everyone. Our member, Beacon of Hope Crisis Center, is an essential and primary service agency that has not ceased in answering the call for help in Indianapolis and throughout Central Indiana during this pandemic. Typically, they have held their annual Give Abuse The Boot gala in-person and this year they are having a version of that event virtually beginning December 1, 2020!

Beacon of Hope Crisis Center recognizes that ALL local business organizations need support right now, and so they’re looking to partner with local businesses for their annual auction fundraiser. They would like to ask every Indiana Originals member business to donate items and services (things that will drive sales and traffic to their business) to the auction fundraiser. Their goal is that while they are trying to raise critically needed funds for the organization all those participating by purchasing during this auction will also be supporting local Indiana Originals businesses who have donated auction items.

Beacon of Hope’s mission helps people who are hurting and need advocacy support from domestic violence and sexual assault trauma. They help an average of over 1200 victims each year, and all of their services are free. Right now, domestic homicides are at an all-time high and given the increased stressors during this pandemic the need for their advocates to intervene early is even greater. We appreciate your help during this crucial time. It is their sincere hope that Indiana Original member business auction donations will help not only their organization, but all of our fellow member businesses! Thank you.
