Indy Air Expo Prepares to Take Flight at Indianapolis Regional Airport
Indy Air Expo benefiting Indiana hospitals for children will take place Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Indianapolis Regional Airport.
The Indy Air Expo serves as a nonprofit group working to raise funds for Indiana hospitals for children. Proceeds will fund a grant program to fill the specific needs of the hospitals by funding equipment and improvements.
During the two-day event, spectators will comfortably and safely be able to view vintage and modern aircraft.
The daily schedule includes:
8 a.m. – Gates open
10 a.m. – Opening ceremonies, aircraft rides begin and kid’s area opens
11 a.m. – Food vendors open
Noon – 2 p.m. – Demonstration flights
2 p.m. – Entertainment begins, aircraft rides reopen
3 p.m. – Warbird planes fly
5 p.m. – Gates close
