Becky the Bakester is a licensed food service vendor in Hamilton County Indiana producing marshmallows and other deliciousness out of a commercial kitchen in Carmel, Indiana. All baked goods are made from scratch using high-quality ingredients.

Who is Becky and What is a Bakester?

I am Becky (duh!) and bakester is an old-timey word that refers to a female baker. When choosing a name for my business, something about the word bakester spoke to me. Maybe it was the alliteration… or that it is a fun and unique word… or that it is similar to Beckster, which I have been called at various times throughout my life.

I followed my heart, my passion, and my stomach when I started this business and it’s been going strong ever since. I’ve become “the marshmallow lady” and I am so appreciative of the support I’ve received from the Westfield community (and the surrounding areas).

I am a total foodie at heart and am passionate about baking, cooking, and, most importantly, eating delicious food. That passion led me to enroll in culinary school years ago and it has fueled me in my cooking and baking adventures at home as a wife and mother. I truly love making food and sharing it with family, friends, and all of my amazing customers!
