About Us

In April of 2016, I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer. I went through surgery, chemo and daily radiation. After treatment, I returned to my roots using my degree in Art Therapy and started creating. Two years ago, I went full time with what was once a hobby to help clear my headspace. I wanted to create the cleanest and best smelling fragrance items. I truly believe that I have done so. All of our products are made in small batches using the cleanest and finest ingredients in the world.

My husband Matt is a 23-year veteran firefighter with The City of Indianapolis who loves his job and loves helping people. In January of 2021 we joined forces and launched a men’s line of fragrances and recycled decommissioned fire hose items. Normally decommissioned fire hose goes into the landfills. We take this hose, clean it and repurpose it and most importantly give back 10% of all proceeds to first responder mental health. Our businesses name, Clutch and Kindle, means “Perfect Fire”.

All of our products are handmade in Carmel, IN. They are available at our storefront collaboration at Bask on Main in Carmel and Needlers in Carmel. We were featured on Indy Now on Fox 59 in January of 2022.
