“RUN WITH RACERS” ALLOWS PUBLIC TO MEET INDY CAR DRIVERS WHILE SUPPORTING INDIANA MILITARY OVERSEAS
As Speedway gears up for the Indianapolis 500, racing enthusiasts have the opportunity to meet current and past drivers during “Run with Racers.” The Speedway Running Club is hosting the free 5K run/walk through the Speedway Trails with drivers including Gabby Chavez, Jay Howard and AJ Foyt IV and more – in addition to Doug Boles, president of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
While at the event, participants will have the opportunity to purchase a race day packet to be sent to Indiana military serving overseas. Each $20 packet contains a shirt, bandana, koozie and more, which will be received prior to the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500.
