Membership Level Shifts
As of May 16, 2022, Indiana Owned memberships will have a slightly different structure and pricing. If you are an existing member before 5/16/2022, you do not have to change anything. Keep reading for how memberships are shifting and may affect you in the future.
Basic Level – You do not have to change anything. Once your current payment has reached $549, your recurring membership payments will be complete. You will not lose your membership and you will keep your “certified local” status. If you would like to pay the balance to reach $549 and be done with payments before 2025, please email membership@indianaowned.com requesting an invoice.
Premium Level – You do not have to change anything at this time. You will also be grandfathered in and can renew at this level at the $720 rate or $60 per month.
Plus Level — You do not have to change anything at this time. When your current membership year wraps up, you may renew at the new price (only annual payments will be accepted) or you may downgrade to the new basic or premium level.
New Structure:
Application Fee: A one-time payment of $125
- Make sure to pass out your IOFriend discount code to extend 50% off the fee to your referrals
- We will be sending appreciation gifts to anyone recommending another business, so please make sure your referral puts your name on the application
Basic Level — $549 – One-time payment or 12 installments. No renewal required. Once you are “certified local,” your membership stays intact if the business still qualifies for membership.
- Certified as “Indiana Owned” (includes both Originals and Franchises)
- Exclusive access to members-only opportunities, newsletters, events, content, forums, and more
- Early access to sign up for events and opportunities before they open to non-members
- Discounts on event tickets, marketing supplies, and other member perks
- Online community and in-person access to fellow business members
- Swag discounts on branded tote bags, stickers, and clothing items
- Opportunity to support other mission-aligned organizations
- …And more!
Premium Level — $1920 — One-time payment or 12 installments. Can be renewed annually. Once you are “certified local,” your membership stays intact as long as the business still qualifies for membership. Should you chose not to renew after completing your year of this level, you will drop to the Basic Level.
- Certified as “Indiana Owned” (includes both Originals and Franchises)
- Exclusive access to members-only opportunities, newsletters, events, content, forums, and more
- Early access to sign up for events and opportunities before they open to non-members
- Discounts on event tickets, marketing supplies, and other member perks
- Online community and in-person access to fellow business members
- Swag discounts on branded tote bags, stickers, and clothing items
- Opportunity to support other mission-aligned organizations
- We add and optimize your website listing(s)
- Highlighted listing in search results
- Featured member article on our blog, social media outlets, and PR Newswire
- One rotating banner ad (choose your size)
- …And more!
Plus Level — $3795 – One-time payment. Can be renewed annually. Once you are “certified local,” your membership stays intact if the business still qualifies for membership. After one year, you may renew, choose to be a paying Premium Level member, or will drop to the Basic Level.
- Certified as “Indiana Owned” (includes both Originals and Franchises)
- Exclusive access to members-only opportunities, newsletters, events, content, forums, and more
- Early access to sign up for events and opportunities before they open to non-members
- Discounts on event tickets, marketing supplies, and other member perks
- Online community and in-person access to fellow business members
- Swag discounts on branded tote bags, stickers, and clothing items
- Opportunity to support other mission-aligned organizations
- We add and optimize your website listing(s)
- Highlighted listing in search results
- Featured member article on our blog, social media outlets, and PR Newswire
- One rotating banner ad (choose your size)
- Two rotating banner ads (choose your size)
- Featured in an Indiana Owned produced video for your promotional use
- Guaranteed guest spot on a featured TV, radio, or podcast segment
- Special consideration for features from our partners
