The updates are complete

The updates to IndianaOriginals.com and our app are officially complete! Below is what’s new. As always, if you have any questions, just ask! You can email mel@indianaoriginals.com or start a forum topic.

Here’s what’s new:

Search results: Search results now only show what relates to the category or keywords searched. The results no longer default to best results on top and all listings following in alphabetical order. This is a great time to make sure your listing has the keywords section filled out with words people would use to search for a business like yours. Announcements: You can now make an announcement via the dashboard. Click “notify me of follow up replies via email” to stay up to date on the lastest announcements and opportunities!

Manage my membership: Click this button on your dashboard to upgrade or renew your membership.

Blog: The blog is now searchable and our most recent blogs appear on our homepage.

Members Specials: All the member-to-member specials are now populated at https://www.indianaoriginals.com/topic/keywords/. Update your offer in your lisitng as often as you’d like! This page is only available to members, so you must be logged in to the view the specials.

Public Specials: All public specials are now populated at https://www.indianaoriginals.com/public-specials/. Update your offer in your listing as often as you’d like! Anyone can view this page.

The Join Page: We rebuilt the membership page to make membership options easier to compare and the community membership has a seperate page. You can access both options at indianaorginals.com/join.

Application additions: We are now collecting more information for the membership application.

We made a few more changes to the back end to help streamline some operations. I hope you benefit from these enhancements!
