The name Indiana Owned, the Indiana Owned logo, and all related brand elements (collectively, the “Trademarks”) are the property of Indiana Originals, Inc. This Trademark Usage Policy is designed to protect the integrity of our brand while allowing approved members, partners, and media to use our marks appropriately and respectfully.
You may use the Indiana Owned name and logo only if you are:
An active member of Indiana Owned in good standing
An authorized partner, sponsor, or affiliate with written permission from Indiana Originals, Inc.
A media outlet referencing Indiana Owned in editorial content or coverage
All use must follow the guidelines below and may be revoked at our discretion.
If you fall into one of the categories above, you may:
Display the Indiana Owned badge or logo on your business materials, website, or storefront to indicate your membership
Refer to your business as a “Proud Member of Indiana Owned”
Share official Indiana Owned promotional graphics or messaging as provided or approved by us
You must use only official, unaltered versions of the logo provided by Indiana Originals, Inc., and you must follow any brand guidelines provided.
You may not:
Alter, stretch, crop, recolor, or distort the Indiana Owned logo
Use the trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship outside of approved use
Use the trademarks in connection with illegal, misleading, defamatory, or inappropriate content
Register or attempt to register any trademarks, business names, domain names, or social handles containing “Indiana Owned” or any confusingly similar variation
Continue using the trademarks after your membership or partnership ends
To ensure the professionalism and integrity of the brand:
Leave sufficient clear space around the logo
Do not place the logo on busy or clashing backgrounds
Use high-resolution files only (available upon request)
Maintain the logo’s aspect ratio and original colors

Indiana Originals, Inc. reserves the right to take legal action in the event of unauthorized or improper use of its trademarks. Misuse may result in removal of your listing, cancellation of your membership, and legal enforcement where necessary.

Indiana Originals, Inc. may update this policy at any time. The most current version will always be available on IndianaOwned.com. Continued use of our trademarks implies acceptance of the latest policy.
