Award Nominations
Nominations are open for the 18th Annual Impact Awards! Recognize work-based learning excellence in Indiana by nominating an employer, work-based learning supervisor, career development professional, innovative program, or work-based learner.
Employers, have you hosted an intern who impressed you with their performance?
Students, have you worked for an outstanding employer or supervisor?
Schools, do you have career development staff that goes above and beyond?
We want to hear your stories!
Winners are selected by a group of impartial judges from nominations submitted by YOU! All nominees and winners will be celebrated at the Impact Awards Luncheon in February 2024. Submit one or more than one nomination in any or all of the award categories. Nomination deadline is Friday, November 10, 2023.
Call for Proposals
Work+Learn Indiana is accepting presentation proposals for the upcoming 2024 Indiana Work-Based Learning Conference (formerly known as the Work-Based Learning Impact Summit), featuring the 18th Annual Impact Awards Luncheon!
The conference brings together Hoosier employers, educators, and intermediaries to discuss best practices and share ideas toward growth and partnership within work-based learning. Presenters will receive free conference admission.
Presentations should adhere to one of the following themes:
- Preparing Students for Success Through Course Connection
- Career and Technical Education
- Incorporating Skills-Based Hiring Practices Into Work-Based Learning Programs
- Employer Engagement Success (Liability, Transportation, Onboarding, etc.)
- Creating Equitable Opportunities (Focusing on Diverse Populations)
- Work-Based Learning Research
Proposals must be submitted by October 27th. The tentative date for the event is February 19th, 2024.
