CELEBRITY CHEFS SARA MOULTON AND CASEY THOMPSON TO BE FEATURED DURING FANTASTIC FOOD FEST
TV food personalities Sara Moulton and Casey Thompson will headline the Chef’s Stage during Indiana’s largest interactive food and beverage event - Fantastic Food Fest presented by Indiana Grown on Saturday, Feb. 10 and Sunday, Feb. 11. During the two-day event, attendees will be able to experience tastings, cooking classes for all ages, workshops and exhibitors in addition to cooking demonstrations by local and celebrity chefs including Moulton and Thompson.
“Indianapolis continues to grow as a culinary destination and having food personalities like Sara and Casey share their talent in the Circle City only continues to elevate the culture,” said Leslie Swathwood, co-owner and co-producer of Fantastic Food Fest with her husband, Jason.
Sara Moulton is an author, chef and food personality. Moulton began her television career working with Julia Child and then served as the food editor on ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America.” She also worked as one of the first personalities on the Food Network. In addition to her TV work, Moulton writes regular columns for the Associated Press (Kitchen Wise) and the Washington Post (Sunday Suppers). Moulton will take the Chef’s Stage on both Saturdayand Sunday. She will headline on Saturday from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. and Sunday from 3 – 4 p.m. in addition to signing autographs on Saturday from 3 – 4 p.mand Sunday from 1 – 2 p.m.
Casey Thompson is a former contestant and fan favorite on Bravo’s Emmy-winning series Top Chef. Thompson began her culinary career working for celebrity chef Dean Fearing in Texas at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. She has continued to perfect her skills by traveling the world (including Thailand and Argentina) and now serves as the executive chef for the Inn at Santa Fe in addition to running a private dining business. She will take the Chef’s Stage on Sunday, Feb. 11 from 1:20 – 2:30 p.m. and then sign autographs from 2:30 – 3 p.m.
Fantastic Food Fest will run from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday in the Expo Hall at Indiana State Fairgrounds.
