Wow — what an amazing experience! This was some of the best and most authentic Jamaican food I’ve had. The Jerk Chicken Alfredo was absolutely delicious — creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced with just the right touch of spice to keep things exciting without overpowering the dish. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could really taste the love and authenticity that went into it. The service was just as wonderful — welcoming, friendly, and made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for incredible Jamaican cuisine!

Great music. I highly recommend this place. The owner is very nice and transparent. He is a very driven and motivated person. He has an amazing story regarding how he started his business. There is so much food to order and I would like to try the dessert next time around. I like the vibe, decorations, of course the music and it was a great crowd.

We ordered 2 jerk chicken lunch specials. The rice & peas were good, the butter vegetables (cabbage) was AMAZING!! The jerk chicken wasn’t good. It was very hard and seem to be old. It was like some re-heated chicken from yesterday maybe? It was also more bones than chicken. I would go back and try something else but I wouldn’t get the chicken again. I am from Chicago & I love Jamaican food and eat it very often. Jerk chicken is not suppose to be dry and hard like that. That lets me know it was not made fresh off the grill.

Update: Graham, the owner of this restaurant is the true definition of a Business owner that stands behind his product and his promise to consumers. We coordinated a meeting regarding my initial review. He was receptive to my feedback and extremely genuine. He replace my meal at no charge and EVEN let me sample other menu Items I had never tried! Needless to say, I stand by Blue Lagoon and will be a consumer for life. Customer Service, Atmosphere still 10/10 and I can honestly say I came in on an off day. I wish you the best in your business and your integrity is rare in this age of businesses! I have been going to Blue Lagoon on and off for the past 2 years, and the food has gotten more and more disappointing with every visit. I usually get the oxtail dinner and it seems the portions keep getting smaller which is sad. I honestly don’t believe they follow a recipe cause the food tastes like a different recipe each time. I ordered a six pc plantain, they were burnt and rubbery a horrible texture. The Jerk wings are not whole wings but bbq party wings Not a jerk insight, at least it doesn’t taste like authentic jerk AT ALL. For $42, I’m pissed honestly. Just go to Yaso’s Jamaican Grill if you want authentic flavor.
