New Partnership with WRTV

    WRTV, Working For You, is proud to help build a greater connection between consumers and Indiana owned businesses by presenting Locally Owned, Locally Loved. One thing that’s certain to have come out of the pandemic in our country, and that’s that consumers have become more aware than ever of the importance of supporting local businesses. According to a 2020 study by Groupon, 75% of consumers plan to support local merchants moving forward. Additionally the average American plans to spend close to $100 per week at local businesses, which is a 16% increase compared to prior to the pandemic.

    WRTV and parent company Scripps Media have created Locally Owned, Locally Loved as a community initiative to take grow this movement and they have reached out to us to partner on this opportunity. Choosing to support a small business is about the connection…the connection to local people. These are the people who shape the uniqueness of our city and provide a thriving local economy. WRTV is Working For You. Their goal is to showcase the stories of Hoosier Main Street Business owners and connect them to Hoosier families.

    We envision a campaign similar to the We’re Open campaign we presented in the summer of 2020, inviting Hoosiers back out to patronize local bars and restaurants safely during the warm months. We’re proud of the content we created and the difference we made for local business owners. Please watch some samples of this content.
